About Ms. Henderson
Originally from Bells, TN [Home of the Okra Festival ;-) ], I've lived in Memphis for five years. Many moons ago, I received my Bachelor's in English and Master's in Education from The University of Tennessee at Martin, and I'm highly qualified to teach English, History, Geography, and Government in grades 7-12. I have taught previously in Lauderdale County and Shelby County Schools.
I love my job, and I'm very excited to embark on a new school year with a great group of students at Kirby Middle. It will be challenging for all of us, but I know we're going to have a tremendously successful year!!
